Show PAINTED HILLS COUNTRY CLUB Construction Vork Near Completion Progress on the Painted Hills Country Club golf course is moving mov-ing at a rapid rate, according' to president Milt Jolley with fare-ways, fare-ways, greens and toes shaped and ready for final work. Heavy equipment work is nearly near-ly completed on thv? course, be stated, and with the exception of number six green and number seven tee, all greens and tees on the nine hole course have been shaped. Another project allied to the course construction is the flood control project and heavy equipment equip-ment has been at work for the past two weeks on this phase of the construction. . A dike is nearly completed East of the course. Several Organizations Or-ganizations and companies have assisted on this construction phase including turnpulls from Elton Stout Construction Co. which have been on the site for several days. Thursday evening a special meeting of the board of directors of the Painted Hills Country Club has been called to open sealed bids on pipe and fittings for the sprinkling system, Joliey stated. He further pointed out that an option has been taken on property pro-perty owned by Claude Smith near Enoch and work is being done at the present time to attempt at-tempt to arrange a change of diversion of water rights to pump from the city well in that area. Should this be completed, the golf club would pay wheeling rights on the acquired water for use at the course as an insurance in-surance against drought conditions condi-tions and water shortages that might occur regarding present rights in Coal Creek water. ed within the organization with members of the board of directors serving as chairmen.
