Show Strong Redmen Team Plan Entry at BYUInvltationalMeet Approximately 25 youn men from the Cedar City High School will represent the school at the annual Erigham Young University Univer-sity Invitational track and field meet to be held Friday and Saturday Sa-turday at Provo. Coach Hal Norton indicated that it would be the first real test for the Redmen this season in competition with other Class B schools of the state. In addition to the regular entries en-tries Coach Norton also stated that Dan Lindsay, state record holder in the low hurdles and defending champion of the Class B ranks n both highs and lows, will participate in the all-around competition this year. The all-around is a test of track and field skills in all phases. It is one of the most ('e-manding ('e-manding tests of an athlete, Norton Nor-ton stated. The Redmen contemplate a strong aggregation at the Invitational Invita-tional meet. Although team points are not kept the competition competi-tion is the first real indication of comparative strength of the various teams of the state. |
