Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING I Mrs. Gen Bobb Mr. and Mrs. A. VV. Stephenson Stephen-son spent a few days in Spokane, Wash., where Mr. Stephenson attended at-tended a Western Business Education Edu-cation meeting. On their return trip they stopped at Grand Coulee Cou-lee Dam and also visited with Dr. and Mrs. T. Donald Bejl and family at Moscow, Idaho. Dr. Bell is a former teacher at the College of Southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Giles Bolander spent a few days in Provo attending at-tending the Rotary Convention. They met Mr. and Mrs. Robert 1 Smith who now resides in Salt Lake City. The Smiths left Cedar City a short time ago. While they lived here Mr. Smith managed the Sprouse Reitz Store. Mr. and Mrs. Max Randall have as guests, Mr Randall's parents, sisters, and brother, Mr. and Mrs. William Randall, Beatrice Beat-rice and Edna Randall, and Mrs. Norma Randall, all from Salt : Lake City. Mrs. Richard Hunter and girls, Laurie and Valery from Orem have been spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. Garth Webster and family and also visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Yergensen went to Provo to attend the Rotary Ro-tary Convention. Mrs. Effie Sorenson from Mt. Carmcl is spending some time with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Demoin Sorsensen. Mr. and Mrs. !ia Schoppman and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Duard Schoppman and family spent a two day family trip at House Rock, Arizona, at the Schoppman ranch. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Mel Schoprman and son from Kai.ab. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Robb arid son, Lynn, have been vacationing vacation-ing in Boulder City, Nevada, where they visited Mrs. Robb's brothers and families, Mr. and Mrs. Amber Slack and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Slack. Mr. and Mis. Louis Ence and Mr. and Mrs. Mel Ence and granddaughter, Elise, spent the week end in Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Corry Parry and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Beal, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ence.' Mr. and Mrs. Karl Ileyborne from St. George spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ileyborne Iley-borne and family. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Heap have as guests their son, Mr. Donald Heap, his wife and small son, Kerry. They now live In Center-viUe, Center-viUe, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Max Randall and family spent Easter in Salt Lake City. On returning home they brought Mrs. Randall's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Kay Drechael to Cedar Ce-dar City to spend a few weeks with them. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Larson and girls Roberta and Annette spent the week end in Elsinore, Utah, with Mr. Larson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Larson. Miss Lauana Rae Heap has been spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Heap. Lauana Rae is working for the Los Angeles State College. Mrs. Cliff Reese and girls, Gaylen and Anne, have just returned re-turned from a three week stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cerrea in Twin Falls, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Petty Mr. Cerrea has been ill. entertained their dinner club Friday Fri-day evening. A lovely dinner was served family style in their newly new-ly finished family room. After dinner the guests enjoyed playing play-ing table tennis, singing and dancing. Those enjoying the evening ev-ening were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Betenson, Mr. and Mrs. Hay.ner Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Dixie Lea-vitt. Lea-vitt. Dr. and Mrs. McFay Clo-ward, Clo-ward, Dr. and Mrs. Willard Strat-ton, Strat-ton, and Mr. and Mrs. Petty. Mr. and Mrs Dee Urle from Salt Lake City spent the week end with Mr. Urie's parents Mr. and Mrs. D. Claude Urie and upon up-on returning, took the Claude D. L'ii.-s to spend a few days with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Derose and family. Can.ania Club was Held at the home of Mrs. Jay Thorley. After a gay evening of sewing a light luncheon was served. Guests at the Richard Rowley's were Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Robinson Robin-son from Reno, Nevada. They are the parents of Mrs. Rowley. Tinochle was played at the home of Mrs. Jarry Graff Tuesday Tues-day night. Prizes were won by Mrs. Gale Adams and Mrs. Jay Perry. After an evening of cards and visiting, a lovely luncheon was served. Captain Smith and Sgt. Dun-kiri Dun-kiri from Logan were here during dur-ing the past week visiting with Major and Mrs. Robert Boal on pleasure and ROTC business. Beta Sigma Phi Omega, was held at the home of Mrs. J. R. Judd. Mrs. Laurence Cooper gave the book review on the "Life of William Irving." New pledges were Mr. Ross Eager and Mrs. Frank .Berrett. After the review a lovely luncheon was served. |
