Show SATURDAY. APRIL 20 Famous B YU Choir to Sing Here A 70-voiee a cappella choir of Brigham Young University, un "ler the ejection of Professor Newell B. Weight, will present a varied and enriching musical program on ' Saturday, April 20, In Cedar City while on Its annual an-nual tour which this year takes them through Utah, Nevada and southern California. With a repe-toire repe-toire of early sacred music as well as folk songs and contemporary contem-porary works, this ensemble has been regarded by many critics as one of the finest collegiaie qhoirs in the nation. Tickets for the event, which 's scheduled for presentation at the College of Southern Utah Auditorium at 7:30 p. m. are available by contacting any Re. lief Society officer or teacher in any of the local L D S wards, or at Cedar School and Office Supply Sup-ply or Cowley Drug Store. All proceeds from the event be turned over to the Cedur Seminary building fund. Mr. Weigh has been director of the choir since its nrfi',,i. tion in 1949. A native of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, he studied choral techniques with Olaf Christiansen, director of the famous St. Olaf Choir of Minnesota. Since coming to BYU to organize and direct the a cappella cap-pella choir.
