Show JAYGEES PLAN CLEAN-UP WEEK The annually sponsored Clean up, Paint-up and Fix-up Week is being promoted next week, April 8 through 13. ac- ' cording to R. L. Gardner, chairman of the project. Residents of the city have been asked to begin the cleaning clean-ing up work early in the week in order to facilitate the Junior Jun-ior Chamber of Commerce pickup plans for Saturday, April 13. Gardner hi6Ueu that pickups of rubbish will be ma do beginning Saturday morning and asked tiiat residents place debris collected from the lots and homes on the curb and in containers, If possible. A gang of Jaycees and trucks will make a complete canvass can-vass of the town Saturday, and, if necessary, will continue the collection program through Sunday, April 14. |
