Show Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clark with Merlinda and Bryce visited at the Reed Bradshaw home the first of last week. As Mrs. Clark continued to Toquerville for a visit, the children remained with their grandparents for the balance bal-ance of the week. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Jones traveled trav-eled to Salt Lake City last week to attend the graduation exercises exer-cises at the University of Utah. Their daughter, Cynthia, was one of 10 young people from Cedar City to be honored during the exercises with a diploma. Miss Jones will remain In Salt Lake City during the summer where she will be employed with the city recreation department. A graduate In the filed of dance, she will teach next school year in Alhambra, Calif. Week end guests at theJ. M. Bird residence were Mr. and Mrs. Anson Hamblin and two children chil-dren of Provo and Mrs. Arthur Melling of Salt Lake City. The out-of-towners were on hand to atend the farewell testimonial for Elder James Bird, who will leave in the near future for the Great Lakes mission. Mr. and Mrs. David C. Weaver visited last week at the home of their son and family, the Max Weavers. After short sight-seeing trips around the Cedar City area and a pleasant visit, Mr. and Mrs. Weaver returned to their home In Layton. |
