Show KIWANIS TAKES LEAD Rotary Club Scores Major Upsets TEAM STANDINGS Klwanls 4 2 .667 Columbia 4 3 .571 Elks 4 3 .571 Milne 4 3 .571 Rotary 3 5 .375 Lions . 2 5 .286 Rotary Rangers moved out of the cellar this past week in the Cedar City Little League by posting post-ing two victories, one over the Columbia Miners, 9 to 6 to force Columbia out of first place, and the other over the Elks Ruler, 8 to 7, to keep them tied for second sec-ond place honors. Game of the week was an extra-inning 2 to 1 battle, which Milne pulled out of the fire to win over Columbia. Saturday afternoon. af-ternoon. Robert Barrlck, 10-year-old was the winning pitcher. He allowed only two hits to Columbia Colum-bia in his five innings of play before Merrill Dalley took over to complete the game. Fred Esplin carried the mound honors for Columbia through regulation play, giving way to Wynn Isom in the extra Innings. Isom was tagged with the lass. Milne scored in the first frame with leadoff man Roger Olsen scoring. Columbia tied it up in the fifth inning whtn Bradley Isom walked to lead off and he tallied on an error. Milne continued its winning streak as it pounded out six home runs Tuesday evening to defeat the Lions 20 to 3. M. Dalley Dal-ley hit three homers, Olsen was Just behind him with two round trippers in the contest and Ronnie Ron-nie Anderson added the sixth for the game. M. Dalley was the winning pitcher and Milne collected col-lected a total of 15 hits. Two grand-slam home runs were the highlight of the Kiwa-nls-Rotary game played Thurs day evening with the Kubs coming com-ing out on top of 12 to 8 contest.
