Show Former Valley Man Acclaimed In Coast Music Circles ESCALANTE VALLEY For young Dick Frederics, one time resident of Beryl,' whose sister Helen (Mrs. Dee Burgess) still lives here, the first big pinnacle in the road to stardom was reached reach-ed recently when he won the coveted Hellwood Bowl-audition conducted by noted band leader Carmen Dragon.
