Show Iron Co. Democrats Plan Full Ticket In November Election The Iron County Democratic Executive committee in meeting Saturday evening Indicated that they expected to fill a ticket for the 1953 November election with a candidate for every office, according ac-cording to Kumen Gardner, chairman. chair-man. Democratic committee Is generating gen-erating a lot of enthusiasm this year and following the fine showing of the party in municipal munici-pal election, particularly in Cedar Ce-dar City, last November, are finding a number of top men who are willing to file for the important Iron County offices. The Iron County Committee is also backing a state-wide essay contest for young democrats with top prizes to be awarded on a state level. Anybody between the ages of 14 and 21 is eligible to enter the contest. Entrants will write a 500 word essay on the subject of "Why I am going to be a Democrat. United States Savings Bonds will be awarded in two divisions plus a trip to the state nominating nominat-ing convention In Salt Lake City. Deadline for the contest is July 1.
