Show Funeral Services Conducted for Christensen Child Funeral services for Chris Edward Ed-ward Christensen, three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fhil Christensen, Chris-tensen, were conducted In the Cedar Stake House Friday, June 13. by Elton W. Stapley, bishop's counselor. The child was killed Instantly on June 11 when he was struck by an automobile on Highway High-way 91 south of Cedar City, when he attempted to cross the highway high-way after having been at play. Spi-akt-i s ui iiie services were Leonard Wood, Minister of the Church of Christ, and Warren H. Bulloch, with brief remarks by Elder Stapley. Invocation was by George .R. Manning, benediction by Mitchell N. Lunt, and the dedicatory ded-icatory prayer at the cemetery by Robert Bradshaw. Prayer at the mortuary prior to the services ser-vices was by Haldow E. Christensen, Chris-tensen, the child's grandfather. The musical program Included two numbers, "Brahm's Lullaby," Lulla-by," and "Prayer Perfect," by a lady's trio composed of Gladys Isom, Ruth Urle and Ann Lea-vitt, Lea-vitt, and a vocal solo, "Evening Prayer" by Christine Wlnterrose. Prelude and poetlude music was by June Thorley. Burial was In the Cedar City c r.tery. |
