Mrs. Nieta Jones is back home from I .as Veeras. She became ill and was forced to discontinue her nurse's training. Georgia Matheson of Parowan spent the week end with her mother, Mrs Hulda Peterson. Summit people participating In the Parowan Stake Temple Day at St George were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Farrow, Mrs. Millie Grim-shaw, Grim-shaw, Mrs. Ella Lawrence and Lyle Farrow. Mr. asd Mrs. Leland Dalley spent the week end In Summit Mrs. Lucy Green and small grandson are leaving for California Calif-ornia where she will spend some time with her son, Ralph Green, Jr., and family. Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet had Mr. and Mrs. Walter K. Granger of Cedar City and Mrs. Amy Green of Salt Lake City as dinner guests. Mr. and Mrs. Conley Adams and family returned to their home in Salt Lake City Thursday Thurs-day after spending same time here during the strike at Kenne-cott Kenne-cott Copper Company. While here they were tte guests of Mrs. Adams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow. Mrs. Amy Green of Salt Lake City visited with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto P. Dalley, last week. The Summit Irrigation Co. board held a meeting at the home of Bishop Ivan Dalley Friday Fri-day evening. Dickie Fife, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Fife went to Salt Lake City to volunteer flr service with the U. S. Air Force. |
