Show livestock Group Plans Banquet I The annual field day and ban quet of the Cedar City Livestock Live-stock Association will be held Friday, Feb. 12, otfjfidals of the association announce. Feature of the day's activities will be the annual bsnut to be held at the Escalante Hotel at 7:30 p.m. Dr. G. Homer Dur- j I ham, vice president at the University Uni-versity of Utah, and head of the political science department at the university, will be the gtiest j speaker at the banquet Dr. Durham Dur-ham is recognized as one of the T.cct uynamic speakers of the state, and his apppearance will undoubtedly attract an unusual -ly large attendance at this annual an-nual affair. Permanent subjects, particularly particu-larly dealing with the future of lamb markets, will be discussed at an afternoon meeting to be held at the College of Southern Utah Library Lounge, beginning ; at 2 p.m. 7pcaivcis at u.e Tieriiuup. session ses-sion will be $. R. BroaJbent former president of Utah Wool Growers Association, and James Hooper, secretary of the Wool , Growers organization, both of whom are well qualified to bring pertinent information to the members of the local association. Anyone interested in the discussions dis-cussions either during the afternoon after-noon meeting or at the banquet, is invited to attend. |
