Show Court of Honor Will Launch Boy Scout Week First event of Boy Scout Week , activities in the Cedar Breaks District will be the Court of Honor Hon-or held Sunday, Feb. 7 in the Cedar City LDS Stake House at 8 p. m. District Advancement Chairman Donald Blue will be in charge of the program. Special activity of the court will be the convening of the Eagle Ea-gle ceremony to present scout-1 ing's top award to two young boy scouts, Melvin Manning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Manning and Ray Lunt, son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Lunt, will receive Eagle Ea-gle badges. Opening and closing ceremonies ceremon-ies will feature Indian dances performed In costume by members mem-bers of the Order of the Arrow, an organization of outstanding scout campers under the direction direc-tion of Royce Chamberlain and Keith Midgley. A large number of scout awards will be presented to the scouts, according to Mr. Blue. |
