Show Special Impovement District Setup Favored by Mayor The Cedar City Planning Commission, Com-mission, in meeting Monday, approved ap-proved and promised full support sup-port to a proposal by Mayor Arnold Ar-nold Anderson that special improvement districts would be established, and the entire Job contracted lu "nlform completion comple-tion of the project Of course, a special Improvement Improve-ment election would be necessary, neces-sary, with property owners who do not have curb and gutter, voting on that portion of the project pro-ject and the cost prorated on the number of feet owned by each individual. Only those who have curb installed would be obligated under the program. Since surfacing of streets from fhe center oil strip to curb would affect practically all property owners, the vote and cost would be more wide spread on this particular par-ticular phase of the proposal. The city administration, planning plan-ning commission and most people peo-ple contacted on the proposal feel that this would be one of the most important improvement improve-ment projects undertaken in the city In many years.
