Show Bonanza to Start New Jet Service in Cedar In a change of schedules effective ef-fective Feb. 11, Bonanza Air Lines will usher in the Jet age to southern Utah with its new Fair-child Fair-child F-27A Silver Dart Jetprop. Bonanza will start jetprop service ser-vice on this date with one round-trip round-trip to Salt Lake City, on a daily nonstop basis and one round-trip flight to Phoenix on the same basis. The Silver Dart flights will be in addition to the present DC 3 service thereby offering two flights to Salt Lake City and two flights to Phoenix. The Silver Dart Is a 40-passen-ger, twin engine, Jetprop aircraft with a cruising speed of 300 mph. It is pressurized and fully air conditioned and is equipped with weather radar. Bonanza's fleet of Silver Darts are powered wih the Rolls Royce RDa-7 engine. en-gine. Tht Dart engine has proven itself in millions of hours of operation op-eration on the Viscounts used by Capital, Continental and Northeast North-east Airlines. Initial schedules call for the Silver Dart to leave Cedar City at 8:53 a. m. and arrive in Salt Lake City at 9:53 a. m. The southbound Silver Dart will depart de-part Salt Lake City at 10:30 a. m. and arrive in Cedar City at 11:30 a. m. The jctprops also schedule 1 hour and 20 minute service between be-tween Cedar City and the Arizona capital city of Phoenix. The Sliver Sli-ver Dart flight will leave Phoenix for Cedar City at 7:30 a. m. and will arrive Cedar City at 8:50 a. m. Jetprop flights to Phoenix will depart Cedar City at 11:33 a. m. and arrive in Phoenix at 12.53 noon. Bonanza Inaugurated Silver Dart Service between Salt Lake City and Phoenix on March 29 of last year and has subsequently subsequent-ly taken delivery of three more of Its new Falrchilds. Robert Yeager, Cedar City station sta-tion manager for Bonanza, advises ad-vises that the additional service makes excellent connections at both Salt Lake City and Phoenix Phoe-nix for the East, Southeast and Coast cities.
