Show i'i I 4 . ,1 MR. AND MRS. DALE RIDER Judy Leonard Recites Wedding Vows President Harold S. Snow of the St. George LDS Temple officiated officia-ted Saturday morning, June 17 at a wedding ceremony that united uni-ted Ji'dy Leonard and Dale Rider of Cedar City In wedlock. That same evening the newly-weds newly-weds returned to Cedar City where the bride's mother, Mrs. Boyd Leonard, was host to a reception re-ception held at the Cedar West Stake House. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert M. Rider of Cedar City. Greeting guests, the new Mrs. Rider was radiant in a floor-length floor-length gown of white net and lace which featured a fitted bodice, bo-dice, scalloped neckline and long tapering sleeves. Her bridal bouquet bou-quet featured a white orchid surrounded sur-rounded by glamelias and ste-pontl. ste-pontl. The bride selected as her maid of honor, Miss Aliene Hyatt and Mrs. Judy Manning as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ellse Randall, ann Bagley, Janet Leonard, Leo-nard, Rosalie Rider. Flower girls were Susan Rider and Joan Leonard. Leo-nard. Attendants were attired in gold chrystiet dresses wttn quarter length sleeves and box pleated skirts. They carried bouquets of feathered carnations, gladioli -in white baskets. The flower girls were n white dotted swlss dresses dress-es wan yellow sashes and carried car-ried small replica baskets of the attendants. Mrs. Leonard chose a teal blue sheath for the occasion and Mrs. Rider wore a dress of floral print with a beige background. Both wore corsages of glamalias. Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Mack Rider and ushers were Raymon Prestwlch, George Manning, and Kenny Brunson. Immediately following the reception, re-ception, the newlyweds left for a honeymoon trip to California after which they will return to Page, Ariz, where they will make their home. The new Mrs. Rider is a graduate gradu-ate of Cedar City High School where she was a member of the pep club, the Future Homemak-era Homemak-era of America and the United Nations club. She also has attended at-tended College of Southern Utah where she was a member of the ROTC Sponsors Corp. Mr. Rider is also a graduate of the Ce"iar High School and has attended CSU. He was prominent In athletics in both schools. The plan to return to Cedar City this fall where Mr. Rider will continue his studies at CSU. |
