Following that call, Parks also had requested to make a call supposedly for the purpose of securing additional money for ball which had been set for his release. Faces Weapon Following the telephone call, Cadall returned the prisoner to the cell. As he unlocked the cell and was pulling the door open. Parks pulled the .32 revolver on Cadall. The second prisoner, Harvey, Har-vey, then took the .38 calibre pistol from Cadall and held it on him while Parks took the officers of-ficers handcuffs, handcuffed him, bound and gagged him. Leaving Cadall, the pair took the Cedar City police car that was parked outside the city and county building to make their escape.
