Show Canyon Recreation Area Work Progresses Douglas Lunt, chairman of the Iron County committee on the development of the recreation area at Wood's Ranch, announced this week that Interest and progress pro-gress at the site in Cedar Canyon is on the upward swing. At a special meeting of participating parti-cipating organizations held at the recreation area this past week, a total of ten groups were i represented and a number of projects have been taken by I these groups. ' Lunt also reported that most i of the trenches have been dug I for the pipe for the water sys-1 sys-1 tern and indicated that the pipe is expected to be laid by the end of the week or the early part of the week. A word of caution has also been issued to those using the park not to attempt to use the hydrants and other facilities connected con-nected with the water system until un-til such time that the system is completely installed. Several major projects are currently cur-rently underway and it is expected ex-pected that a number of important impor-tant additions will be available for use in the very near future, the chairman stated. |
