DAVID MATHESON Laurel Smith Recites June Vows With David Matheson Beautiful June bride was Miss Laurel Smith of Cedar City as she recited vows with David Mulct Mu-lct Matheson Friday, June 16 at the Cedar First Ward Church. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mori M. Smith and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Matheson of Par-owan. Par-owan. Following the double-ring ceremony, cere-mony, the newlyweds were honored hon-ored at a reception in the recreation rec-reation room. For the wedding occasion the bride chose a dress of Spanish lace over satin with Inserts of accordian pleats. She carried a spray of pink roses and her fingertip fin-gertip veil of bride's illusion was caught to a crown of seed pearls and sequins. Attending the bride as matro of honor was rs. Patricia Leary with Miss Glennis Smith, Miss Tonya Mickelson. Mrs. Julie Lister Lis-ter and Mrs. Wilma Briggs as attendants. Flower girls were Terri Lynn and Cindy Lee Smith. Standing as best man was Sheril Lister with Kevin Mathe son, Robert Bet t ridge and Dale Bettridge serving as fishers. The new Mrs. Matheson Is a graduate of Cedar High School and of Darrell's Beauty College In Salt Lake City and is presently present-ly employed at Miriams Beauty Salon in Parowan. The bridegroom is a graduate of Parowan High School and is now employed In Cedar City. The matron of honor wore a sheath dress of dark pink satin cotton and the attendants were in alternating sheaths of light print and mint green satin cottons. cot-tons. They carried bouquets of white carnations. The petite flower flo-wer girls were In white nylon dresses with rosebud Inserts and they carried baskets of pink rose petals. |
