Show John C. Brown Honored at Dental School Graduating with high honors' at the 78th annual commencement commence-ment exercises of the University of Southern California was John C. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Brown of Cedar City. Brown received his doctor of dental surgery degree and was honored in numerous ways. The new Dr. Brown was one of throe of the graduating class of 105 from the dental school electee' elect-ee' to Phi Kappa Phi, national all-university honorary society. He was also one of 12 graduating graduat-ing seniors elected to membership member-ship in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, national honorary dental society. John was also honored at the annual dental alumni awards breakfast receiving the Daniel Cave Memorial Award for excellence excel-lence in phosthetics and was presented pre-sented with the certificate of merit from the American Academy Acad-emy of Dental Medicine. Prior . to this Dr. Brown has been honored several times in his dental school career. He was elected to Alpha Tau Epsilon dental honorary society of the University of Southern California for top scholarship his freshman year. He was honored by being the senior recipient of the Dental Alumni Memorial scholarship which is given each year to one junior and senior student, and he also received one of the five C. V. Mosby PublUhinj; Co. scholarship book awards given to senior dental den-tal students. Arriving for a visit with their parents and grandparents were Dr. and Mrs. Brown, and their three children, Conrad, Douglas and Carol Ann.
