Show Services Conducted In New Harmony for Relden Prince Hall Funeral services were held Saturday, Sat-urday, June 17 in the New Harmony Har-mony Ward Chapel at 2 p. m. for Relden Prince Hall. Relden died Wednesday, June li, in a tractor accident five miles northwest of Logan. The services were conducted by Bishop's counselor, Sheldon B. Grant. Songs, "Sometime We'll Understand" Under-stand" and "Abide with Mo, Tis Eventide," were sung by a ladies chorus consisting of Viola Kelsey, Edna Prince, Eva Schmutz, Mamie Mam-ie Huntsman, Esta Taylor, Sylvia Syl-via Pace and Lula Mathis. They were accompanied at the piano by Delora Hunt. Invocation was by Bishop Lawrence Law-rence Peterson of Fillmore. Speakers were Gerald W. Prince, Cannon Huntsman and President Frank Day of the Cedar West Stake. A vocal solo was sung by Mar-low Mar-low Mace, accompanied by Edith Callister. Remarks were given by Bp. Grant and the benediction was by Thomas J. Pearce. Prelude and postlude music was by Marilyn Mari-lyn M. Perry. Prayer at the home was given by Lyle B. Prince and the dedication dedi-cation of the grave at New Harmony Har-mony cemetery was by Ralph Railsback. Pall bearers were Herchel Hall, Kerry Grant, Ronald Prince, Dar- RELDEN HALL rell Prince, Ray Taylor and Rodney Rod-ney Lowe. Flower girls were Winona Ramage, Laureda Prince, Rolaine Grant, Joyce and Nila Hall, Avey Davis and Annette and Claudine Prince. Relden was barn Feb. 24, 1938 at Cedar ity. a son of Dean Hoyt and syivia Prince Hali. He married Lois Railsback, Sept. 29, 1960 in the Mantl LDS Temple. He had served a mission for the LDS church in the Western States Mission from 1958 to 1960. He attended College of Southern Utah in Cedar City for two years and had been enrolled at Utah State University in Logan in the spring quarter this year. He is survived by his wife, Logan; Lo-gan; parents, New Harmony; a sister, Berdean Masterson, Orem; a brother, Weston, New Harmony; Harmo-ny; two grand mothers and two grandfathers. The mishap occured in Benson Ward on Wednesday, June 14. The tractor, which he was driving, driv-ing, apparently slipped off a nar-! nar-! row dirt road and overturned in 1 the backwaters of the Bear river. ! Relden's employer, Otto Degn, i had seen the tractor and went ! out to meet it, finding it over-1 over-1 turned, pinning Hall beneath it ! in the shallow water. Tractor 1 was removed with aid from a ! neighbor's tractor and emergency treatment from the Logan-Cache i County ambulance was adminis- tered. |
