Show PARENTS AND FRIENDS: Today I handed the key of the Junior high school to my successor, suc-cessor, Mr. Rulan Woodbury with mixed feelings. Glad because of the fine young man who is taking tak-ing over, but sad that after 32 years of challenging and joyous service I will sever my relations with the faculty and student body bo-dy who over the years have meant so much to me. I owe a great deal to this community com-munity for the continuous support sup-port and kindly feelings exhibited exhibit-ed by the parents and patrons, young people. I am sure I have received more in happiness and satisfaction than I could possibly have given although I have done my best to serve the school and community. May we thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind expressions of appreciation during the past month. They have come through letters, the spoken word and lovely remembrance remem-brance or Just a friendly 'Thank you." Our reward through the years has been rich and compensating but your thoughtfulness and kind words as we leave the thing we have cherished most are indeed the greatest gift of all. Most Sincerely, , Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Miles and family. |
