Show Ag Students Awarded Scholarships By Banking Company Members of 4-H clubs and Future Fu-ture Farmers of America In the area in 1960 will once again have the opportunity of competing compet-ing for both Individual and unit awards from First Security Foun dation, It was announced this week by Francis W. Beterson, manager, First Security Bank, Ce. dar City. The Foundation has appropriated appropri-ated $2,400 for these awards. First Security Foundation has also appropriated $12,500 for 19G0 scholarships and library grants at 13 colleges and universities in Utah and Idaho. This brings to a total of $80,500 In grants contributed con-tributed by the foundation to In-termountaln In-termountaln educational and youth activities. Schools receiving foundation contributions are: University of Idaho, Idaho State College, Boise Junior College, Ricks College, Northwest Nazarene College, College Col-lege of Idaho, Lewis & Clark Normal College (Lcwlston), University Uni-versity of Utah, Brlgham Young University, Utah Star Unlversi-ty, Unlversi-ty, Weber College, Westminster College, and College of Southern Utah. "The aim of these scholarships and grants Is to build character, skills and leadership among this area's business, and Industrial executives of tomorrow,' the First Security executive said. |
