Show NEWS FROM NEW HARMONY By Vada Grant Recent guests at the Orson Hammond home were Mr. and JMrm. Earl Woodard of Goshen, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gurr of ra rowan, Mrs. EfHe Polatis of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Jones of St George. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Wilkinson and family and Mrs. Jewel Wil-daaon Wil-daaon af St George visited one dajr last week at the Verl Kel- sey home. Their son Scott, stayed for an extended visit. Trask Grant and his grandson, Mike Lynn, of Covina, Calif., and Larry Scott McColllster of Lemon Grove, Calif., visited here for several days with Mr. and Mrs. Verl Kelsey. Sunday, June 14, 20 Indians from the Indian Branch of Cedar Stake, visited our ward and presented pre-sented the program in Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting. The program was directed by Branch President Franklin Ben. Talks were given by Geneal Anderson, Wood row Pete, Jr.; a song, "Abide With Me," was sung by the Mia Maid chorus. Talk by Mrs. Jake, a song by a men'a chorus. "There Is an Hour of Peace and Rest," and remarks re-marks by President Ben. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Whitehead and family of Henderson, Nev., have been here for the past two weeks vacationing. Mrs. Roma Wiegel of Salt Lake City, has been here taking care of her mother, Mrs. Lula Mathis, who has been ill. Thomas J. Pearce returned home Wednesday from the hospital hos-pital in Cedar City where he underwent un-derwent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Grant and children of Salt Lake City, have been here for the past three weeks visiting relatives. Pamela and Melody Grant of Las Vegas are here visiting their grandmother, Lurene P. Taylor. Mrs. Alta Hoover and daughter daugh-ter Cherl, of Las Vegas, have been here for the past two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence En-glestead. En-glestead. Mrs. Hoover is attending attend-ing summer school at CSU in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Taylor of Las Vegas have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leland Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Prince and son of Las Vegas, spent the week end here with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Prince. Mrs. Kaye Dawn Pace Edwards was a graduate at Utah State 1 University on June 6. She re- ceived a Master's Degree in the field of Home Living. She attended attend-ed College of Southern Utah before be-fore going on to Logan. |
