Show Little League Play Opens for Season Little League base ball play n Parowan got under way on Monday evening with a game in which the Farmers Supply Co. Dodgers took the measure of the Paragonah Town entry by a 14 to 0 score. Rex Burton and Ricky Trimmer shared pitching chores for the Dodgers while Gary Lamoreaux went the distance for the Paragonah Para-gonah entry. The league games will be plajed on the diamond at the Parowan High School athletic field and parents and baseball tans are urged to attend them. George Loosley, League chairman chair-man announces that there will be three league games played each week with 15 more games left on the schedule. Mr. Loosley also states that a meeting of coaches was to be held Wednesday night to study ways of balancing the strength of the teams in the league. He states that some switches or trades may be made in the team rosters in order to do away with any inbalances that may develop devel-op and make for closer games. |
