Show ENOCH AND HID VALLEY NEWS NOTES I Mrs. Dee Wilcken Carlene and Marlene Maxwell, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Louis C. Maxwell have been spending the last week In Salt Lake City visiting with relatives. Miss Trudy Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Jones, spent the week end here visiting with family and friends. She returned re-turned to Salt Lake City Sunday afternoon where she is attending attend-ing LDS Business College. Miss Peggy Murie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie of Las Vegas, has been staying here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jackson of Cedar City. She has been visiting in the valley val-ley and Enoch with her many friends. Friday evening a joint birthday party was held for she and Cindy Christiansen. All of their young friends were invited and it was held in the back yard of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Christiansen. Chris-tiansen. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Foster and family returned from a va cation trip to California Sunday evening. They visited relatives while there seeing sights and also enjoyed some deep sea fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson and family left Tuesday for Salt Lake City where Mr. Matheson attended meetings in connection with his work as Iron County Commissioner. They returned home Wednesday evening. MIA Girls' Camp will be held on June 29, 30 and July 1st, and we have a large number of girls and leaders who will attend. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson have received word from their son Clint that all Is well with him. He left shortly after school was out to serve in the U. S. Army at Fort Ord, California. Kevin Murie, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Elvln Murie, who was admitted to the hospital about two weeks ago suffering with Spinal Meningitis, is now home and recovering very nicely, according ac-cording to his parents. |
