Wayne Jackson left Satur-lay Satur-lay enroute to Mexico where hey will enjoy fishing In the famous resort area of Ensenada. rhey expect to be gone for a week during which they plan to tish for "Yellowtall" which is abundant along the coast this time of year. They went to Mexico Mexi-co by way of Los Angeles where they stopped to see a Dodger baseball game. Residents of the Kayenta Cir cle neighborhood held a combination com-bination going away and welcoming wel-coming party for several couples late Tuesday evening. The group bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs. George Barrus and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rasmussen and their families who will be leaving Cedar Ce-dar City in the near future. They greeted Mr. and Mrs. Ron Sanders, San-ders, Mr. and Mrs. Ear Paddock, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Con Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Carter, who will be new residents of the Kayenta Circle. Mrs. Douglas S. Clark and daughter Linda spent two days this week in Las Vegas where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clark and family. Mrs. Clark met her daughters Suzette and Cathy in Las Vegas at the airport where they had flown from California. The two young ladies have been visiting in Pomona Po-mona with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lee and daughter Laurie Michaele, are In Cedar City visiting with Mr. Lee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eay Lee. Robert is attending an electrician elec-trician Trade School In San Francisco. Fran-cisco. While here they will also visit with Mrs. Lee's uncle anA family, the Dudley Leavitts, Visiting in Cedar City is Pvt. LaVoy Woolsey. He has been sta tloned at Ford Ord, Calif. After visiting here for two weeks with his mother Romona Esplin and other relatives, he will leave for Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Morris Slack and family stopped stop-ped here to visit with. Mrs, Mae Slack before they moved from Moab, Utah to Window Rock. Arizona. Ari-zona. Mr. Slack will be the Seminary Sem-inary Coordinator for the Indian schools in Window Rock after completing summer school at Brlgham Young University. Another An-other guest of Mrs. Mae Slack: has been her daughter, Mrs. Dan (Coriiic) Curtis and four children child-ren of Murray, Utah. They spent several days visiting in Cedar CV- ty. |
