Show Parowan Women Gets Report of Accident Injuries of Son-in-Law Mrs. Clair Lister of Parowan was called to Salt Lake City on Wednesday of last week because of a rather serious accident that had happened to her son-in-law, Farrell Robb, in that city. According to city newspaper reports re-ports Farrell was riding a motorcycle mo-torcycle just off one of the major highways at tne mourn oi parley's par-ley's Canyon, Tuesday about 9 p. m. when he hit a pile of dirt that threw him 95 feet down an embankment em-bankment off the highway. The victim lay there for one-half an hour calling for help before aid came to him. Robb was traveling east on Parley's Way. Construction work on the new Parleys Interchange and detour roads is in progress there. The victim told investigating investigat-ing officer Keith Buckner, that he suddenly saw a three to four foot pile of dirt across the roadway road-way ahead of him. The motorcyles he was riding hit the dirt and flew through the air down an embankment for 75 feet and the victim was thrown another 20 feet. He suffered a broken leg, bruises and abrasions abra-sions and injury to one of his hlpsj He was treated at the Salt Lake General Hospital and then transferred in fair condition to Cattonwood LDS Hospital. Robb Is the husband of the former Kay Lister of Parowan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lister. |
