Show I Redmsn Take Road in Pre-Christmas Games I The Cedar High School tribe uf Redmen go on the warpath In a three-game pre-Christmas serli-s. The attack will take Coach Drui-e Decker's warmen on the road Friday and Saturday but they will return for a home en- j gagement at the CSU fieldhot'se jn Mjnday evening, Dec. 23. I Friday the Redmen move to Parowan for a second battle against their Iron County rivals. On Saturday they move to Sevier Se-vier County where they tangle with Richfield High School. Friday's contest will be one of high interest as both of the, clubs Cedar and Parowan have shown considerable improvement im-provement since their first meet-lng meet-lng in Cedar City which the Red-men Red-men won by posting a 43 to 30 victory. The game against Richfield on Saturday evening at Richfield is a tossup with Richfield attempt, lng to get back into the Class B picture after two comparatively 1 poor years for the normally strong school. . Game time at the C,U field-house field-house on Monday, Dec. 23, Is 8 p. m. and the Redmen will be tackling the defending State Class B champions, Panguitrh. Although Panguitch Is not reported re-ported to be as strong this season, sea-son, they have posted some top scores over some rather strong clubs. It should be a top preseason pre-season attraction for followers of the Redmen. To date the Redmen have post-ed post-ed a two win two loss record rec-ord in pre season games. Wins have been over Parowan and Ben Lomond high schools with losses coming at the hands of Mllford and North Sevier high schools. League play for the Redmen will begin on Jan. 3 with a home game against the Hurrlcaen Tigers. |
