Show Chamber Mails Ballots for Annual Election Ballots have been mailed by the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Com-merce for the purpose of electing officers for the 1958 board of directors, di-rectors, according to Whitney Jensen, executive secretary. Under a new system adopted by the chamber last year G. D. MacDonald will serve for another an-other year as president of trie organization. This year a vice-presidential vice-presidential candidate will be elected for a two-year period making it so that the president and vice-president election will be held on alternate years. I Vying on the ballot for the po. sition of vice president will be Walter Hansink, manager of the Time-Way Loan department of i the First Security Bank of Ce-I dar City, and Kobert C. Hansen, manager of Drug Center. j Six board positions will be vacated at the end of the 1907 year and the election will be held to fill these vacancies. Candidates representing the Elks Lodge will be Jack Pace and Lee Lmpey; for the Business and Professional Women's Club will be Harriet McKinstry, Labor, La-bor, Blaine Wood and Richard Winterrose; Klwanis, Therol Mc arthur and Elwyn Halterman; business, Lowell Sherratt and Tom Cardon and for Industry candidates Include Lester Hey-borne Hey-borne and Wallace IWally) C. Adams. Candidates will be elcted for a two-year term. Holdover board members for 1958 will include the following: Veterans, Milton Sevy; livestock, live-stock, Wendell Jones; Rotary, H. M. Endsley; Lions, Reed Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, and schools, Clifton Chat-terley. Chat-terley. Included. In the mailing with the ballots will be a questionnaire question-naire regarding the New Year's Eve banquet and- dance of the Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Cham-ber members are urged to fill in both cards the ballot and the questionnaire and return as soon as possible. j Announcement of the winners .will be made at the New Year's Eve banquet, Jensen stated. |
