Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING By Virginia Webster Miss Janet Leonard, daughter of Mrs. Virginia Leonard, travel--d to Salt Lake City last week. While in the northern area she visited with her brother-in-law and sister,' Dale and Judy Rider, who make their home in Clearfield, Clear-field, Arriving in Cedar City Sunday were Mr. and Mr. Walker E. Ro-'berts Ro-'berts of Portland, Oregon. Mrs. , Roberts is the former Nana Kenny, Ken-ny, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. den Kenney, who currently are serving on an LDS mission in the North Central States. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts are visiting here for a week at the home of brother-in-law and sister Norman and Veda Adams after having accompanied accom-panied their second sort, Kenney, to the LDS Mission home in Salt Lake City. Kenney will depart later this month to serve In the West Candlaln Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts also have their oldest old-est son, Paul, working in the mission mis-sion field in the North Central States. Mrs. Mae Slack recently returned re-turned with her son Devon and hU family from Albany, Oregon, where she had spent an early summer vacation. Following their arrival other members of the family met in Cedar City for ri short reunion. Morris and his wife and son from Moab, Utah; Merlin Slack of Las Vegas, and Mr. and Mrss. Frank Slack were here. Frank and family have been living In Texas vhere he has been stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base. The al.man has now departed for a one year tour of duty with the service In Sadi Arabia. His family plans to remain re-main here with Mrs. Mae .'Slack. |
