Show Funeral Services Held For James Glen Bigler Funeral services for James Glen Bigler, one time resident of Parowan, who died early Sunday morning of last week while visiting vis-iting at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Laura Benson, were held Wednesday at 10 a. m. in the Third Ward chapel here. Following Fol-lowing services here the body was take', to Nephl, Utah where burial Iook place following brief graveside, services. Spencer Lemmon of the Third Ward bishopric conducted the services with Frank Lyman offering of-fering the family prayer in the Relief Society room where the body lay prior to the services. Arthur Joseph was the speaker at the services with brief remarks by Bishop Lemmon. The invocation invoca-tion was offered by Edgar Low-der Low-der and the benediction was by W. Scott Mitchell. Musical numbers included a song by a double mixed quartet and a vocal solo by Pres. Howard Knight The quartet, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. E. Ray Lyman, Mr. and Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ward, ang "Come Unto Me," with Mrs. Mary Lyman at the piano. Pres. Knight sang "Coin Home," and was accompanied by his daughter daugh-ter Ruth Ann Knight. Kenneth Lyman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lyman, was the speaker at the graveside rites in Nephi and the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Owen Thygerson, a brother-in-law. |
