Show Orton, Gillins Say Wedding Vows In a marriage ceremony which took place at the home of the bride's mother, Miss Sandra Lee Orton of this city became the bride of Henry Murie Gillins, with Sam M. Gentry, an uncle of the bride and a member of the Cedar Sixth Ward bishopric, officiating in the double ring ceremony. Members of the immediate im-mediate members of both families fam-ilies attended the wedding. The parents of the couple served dinner to the wedJlng party at the home of the bride's mother after the ceremony. The new Mrs. Gillins is a daughter of Mrs. Iona B. Orton of Parowan and the Bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon T. Gillins of Ploche, Nev. Following the wedding, which took place Friday evening, June 14, the newly married couple were honored at a reception hosted host-ed by the mother of the bride., held in the recreation hall of the First-Second Ward chapel. For the reception the bride was attired in a champagne brocaded brocad-ed satin floor length gown with finger tip veil, and carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations. car-nations. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs-Bud Mrs-Bud (Druella) Chamberlain, and bridesmaids were Miss Phyllis Brown and Miss Marsha Chamberlain. Cham-berlain. They wore blue cotton satin sheaths with white accessories acces-sories and carried bouquets of white gladiolus. Standing as best man for his brother was James T. Gillins and usher was another brother Elden V. Gillins. For the occasion the mother of the bride wore an embroidered embroider-ed pink satin sheath with a corsage cor-sage of pink gladiolus. The mother mo-ther of the bridegroom wore a beige Jersey sheath and had a corsage of peach gladiolus. For her going away costume the bride was dressed in a beige corded cotton dress with white accessories. The following night, Saturday, the newlyweds wera honored at a reception in the recreation hall of the Pioche Ward chapel. They honeymooned briefly in southern Utah and Nevada. The bride is a graduate of the Parowan Kigh School and attended at-tended the L D S Business College Col-lege in Salt Lake City. The bridegrom is a graduate of the Lincoln County High School at Panaca, Nev., and attended College Col-lege of Southern Utah. They intend in-tend to make a home in North Las Vegas, Nev. as Mr. Gillins is currently employed at Mercury, Mer-cury, Nev. Assisting at the reception were the following: Mrs. Juanita Orton Or-ton and Miss Shirley Nakato at the guest register; Mrs. Sam Gentry, Gen-try, Mrs. Caudell Orton and the Misses Vicki Miller and Annette Jakeman at the gift table. Refreshments Re-freshments were in charge of Mrs. Getta Orton, Mrs. Hills Orton Or-ton and Janet Gillins, a sister-in-law, and serving were the Misses Sandra Decker, Mary Kay ..
