Show Ron L. Mclntyre Wins Assistantship at Ohio State University Ron L. Mclntyre, graduate student stu-dent in communications at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University, has been awarded a teaching assistant-ship assistant-ship of $2,3(X) per year at Ohio State University where he will study toward a doctor's degree. Mr. Mclntyre is a graduate of the College of Southern Utah, where he was editor of the student stu-dent newspaper, and received a bachelor's degree in journalism from BYU in 1962. During 1902-63 he was a television newsman in Salt Lake City. He is a teaching assistant in news writing and radio-TV production pro-duction at BYU this year, and is a candidate for the M. A. degree next August. After his graduation from CSU in 1957, Mclntyre was called to the French Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Cedar City First Ward. Mr. Mclntyre, his wife, Laurie, and 22-month old daughter, Wendy, Wen-dy, live in Wymount Terrace, BYU married student housing development. de-velopment.
