Show Parowan Rams Meet Tigers, Wolves In Remaining Games After suffering three straight defeats by large scores, the Parowan Par-owan High baseball team is hoping hop-ing for something better in the next two and final games of the season, both of which will be played on the Parowan diamond. This week's game with the Hurricane iMgers will be played on Thuresday afternoon, if it can be arranged, it is announced by Baseball Coach Wade Anderson. Reason is the Girls' Day activities activi-ties and interclass track meet set for Friday afternoon. ; The Parowan team stiil has I been hampered by bad weather with rain storms both Monday and Tuesday to chase the boys off the diamond. But Anderson states that his boys will be in better shape for these coming f games. He is planning to start , Robbie Robb in the Hurricane j game. Robb is a hard thrower I but hasn't had the experience Bill Knight has had, and the latter lat-ter will be available for duty. Next week end the Rams entertain en-tertain the Enterprise Wolves in their final game and will be trying to get a win in this one also. This game will be played on Friday afternoon according to the schedule. In last week's game ihe Rams met the strong Dixie teum at St. George and went down to a 23 to 4 score. Knight, Parowan pitcher, pitch-er, showed the effects of the Tuesday game with Cedar in which he took rather a hard pounding. But errors have been most of the downlall oi the Parowan Par-owan team up to now, costing them many runs. The Rams did come up with some hitting in the Dixie game with catcher Way tie Robinson blasting a home run with Mike Hyatt on base ahead of him. |
