First Security Bank Make Scholarship Awards at College First Security Education Scholarships Schol-arships were awarded recently to three students of College of Southern Utah. The awards go this year to Easton Dwight Black burn, St George; Dave Isbell, Richfield and David E. Blackner, Beaver. Announcement of the awards were made by Francis Betenson, manager of the First Security Bank of Utah, Cedar City, on behalf be-half of the Foundation. He said that the FoundaUon -was established estab-lished by the First Security Banks of Idaho and Utah to promote pro-mote and support educational, scientific, religious and charitable charit-able enterprises. Scholarships are offered to outstanding students stu-dents majoring In banking and finance. Names were presented by Prof. A. W. Stephenson, chairman chair-man of the CSU Division of Business Busi-ness and Social Science. David Blackner is the son of Arthur Blackner, Greenville, Utah. He is a sophomore student and Is married. He la active in athletics and a member of the Beaver County Club. Dave Isbell, freshman student Is a son of Dean Isbell, Richfield. Easton Dwight Blackburn, also a freshman stuaent, is a son of Easton Blackburn, St George. Black' mm la married. ! I |
