Show Brick Laying Begins On Third Ward Chapel A group of brick masons, representing rep-resenting a contracting firm from up north, arrived here during the week and began work on laying the brick on the new addition to the Third Ward chapel. This part ot the construction tvork Is being done under contract, con-tract, as will some other phases of construction, such as wiring, plumbing, etc. Brick for the building s'ca'ted to arrive last week end and will be delivered here so that there will be steady progress on this Job. The brick for the outside walls have been made to be as similar as possible in size and color to the brick used in the old structure, which were made and burned at the local brickyards at the William Pendletr:, farm, now owned by Watson Adams. It is reported that three or four weeks will be needed to do the masonry work on the new addition. |
