Show Tune Vows Exchanged in LDS Temple Miss Donna Rae Dix and J. R. Moss were united in marriage Friday, June 12, in the St. George LDS Temple in a ceremony performed per-formed by President Harold S. Snow. I After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Moss, parents of the bridegroom, were hosts at a breakfast at Dick's Cafe in St. George. I In the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Dix, parents of the bride, presided at a reception honoring the couple at the LDS Institute of Religion in Cedar City. J The bride was attended by Mrs. Gary Bjornn, sister of the bridegroom, a matron of honor J Miss LaRue Bladen was maid ofi honor, and other attendants were Mrs. Gene Close and Miss Alice Cane. Mrs. Claude Edwards was at the guest book. Jerrold Hart was best man and ushers were Dean Larson, Don Stringham, Jerry Liston, Phil Carpenter and Sam Moss. In the ft room were Jolene Yjrdley, Joyce Corry ' and Shir-en Shir-en Slack. Serving were Eva Dean Gardner, JoArh McConnell, Kathleen Jackson and Mary Edwards. Ed-wards. Attendants to the bride were dressed alike in sheer pink nylon ny-lon dotted Swiss, and carried nosegays of pink and white carnations. car-nations. The bride was honored at a prenuptial party at her home in Cedar City by Mrs. Gene Close on Wednesdayy evening, June 10. ! On Friday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Claude Edwards, uncle and aunt of the bride, honored the couple at a buffet luncheon at their home. j .Also honoring the couple, parties par-ties were given in Bountiful by friends of the groom, and by students in the bride's third 'class at the Bountiful Elementary Elemen-tary School. After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Ve-gas, the couple will spend the summer at Bryce Canyon, where they will be employed. . |
