William King. Miss LaRae Farrow and Bennle James accompanied them. Bennie will remain at Magna with his parents par-ents while LaRae will visit with her brother-in-law and . sister, Mr. and Mrs. Conley Adams In Logan. t Those who attended the MIA Conference In Salt L".ks City were President Sylvia Stapley, Miss Bonnie Dalley and Miss LaKay Richards, who took part In the dancing department, and Bryce and Michael Stapley, who participated In the singing group. The Stapleys will also visit with the Joe Stapley family who had a new addition recently. Mrs. Edith Williams of California Califor-nia came to pick up her father, Benjamin Lawrence, who has been visiting with relatives and friends the past two weeks. He went Into Salt Lake City to visit his brother, Joseph and other relatives while Mrs. Williams at- tended the MIA Conference , Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Humph-erys Humph-erys and their daughter, Patricia, left for California early Saturday Satur-day morning. Pat has obtained employment there for the summer sum-mer season. Also traveling with the Humpherys was Beulah Browning who is returning to her home in Springville, Calif. Misses Francis Farrow and Donna Gayle Fife returned home from a visit In Las Vegas Tuesday. Tues-day. Mrs. Ella Lawrence accompanied accompan-ied Mrs. Edith Williams to points In northern Utah where she will visit with her daughters and their families, Mr. ond Mrs. Norton Nor-ton James and Mr. and Mrs. Max Reese. Mrs. Leona Ray of Santa Clara, a sister of Hulda Peterson, and Barbara Barton. Mrs. Peterson's 1 niece, and Mrs. Barton's three children. David. Pamela, and Donnle of Salt Lake City, visited here this week. Also visiting at i the Peterson home were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stuckl of Salt Lake City. The speakers at our sacrament meeting Sunday were Bishop Ivan H. Dalley and Howard Dalley. Dal-ley. Each related experience of recent trips Bishop Dalle, on the Old .V-nish Trail and the Mountain Meadows, and Howard Dalley of a trip to Temple, Texas Tex-as and Santa Fe, N. M. President Watson Adams of Parowan Stake visited the different differ-ent organizations of the Summit Ward Sunday and was a speaker speak-er in sacreament meeting. Mrs. Ann Madsen left for Clr-clevllle Clr-clevllle Saturday to visit with her daughter. Mrs. May Slmkins and other relatives there. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hulet of Cedar Ce-dar City and their daughter, Patricia, Pat-ricia, enjoyed Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Os-car J. Hulet and family. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Rider of Cedar Ce-dar City. Were at the home of Mrs. Rider's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Stapley of Cedar City visited with their uncle un-cle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Jones last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pace of Enoch and two two small children, chil-dren, spent Sunday with the ; Rudger Fife family. |
