Show City Council Takes Equipment Inventory ' The Parowan City Council held a lengthy session at the city offices of-fices on Friday evening, with much of . the tlm being spent In making a list of the assets and properties owned by the city and placing a value on them. Mayor Howard Joseph states that this must be done by the city in order to comply with a state latr passed by the recent session of the State Legislature. He states that this is also bev ing done to aid the city officials in keeping an inventory of all city property and equipment, with the intention being to keep a record of these asset and equipment. .... Mayor Joseph also states that city employees wtil matte a survey sur-vey in the Parowan mountains and on the Mammoth, to see if suitable poles can be found to be used for additions and replacements re-placements for poles in the city's power distribution system. The high cost of imported poles for such purposes has prompted the city to see if use of native timber tim-ber can be made at a saving to, the city. |
