Show Lady Lions to Select Royalty for Fourth Celebration Royalty for the Fourth of July miniature parade, sponsored annually an-nually by the Cedar City Lady Lions, will be selected Friday evening, June 26 at the Cedar Second Ward church, It was announced an-nounced by lone Lambert, chairman. chair-man. All boys and girls, age 4 and 5 are eligible to compete for the king and queen titles. In addition addi-tion to the king and queen, attendants at-tendants will also be named and each contestant will be given a prize. Registration for the contest will begin at 3:30 p. m. and last until 4. Judging will take place from 4 to 5 p. m. at which time the parents of the contestants will be entertained, Mrs. Lambert Lam-bert said. At the conclusion of the judging judg-ing the royalty will be named. , A special float, prepared by the Lady Lions, will be built for the king and queen and their attendants to lead the Fourth of July Parade down Cedar City's main Street. Children who are competing for the titles must not turn six before July 4, Mrs. Lambert pointed out, a'i must be at least four by that 6ce. |
