Show Services Conducted Thursday for Ray L. Mlddlesworth Fureral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Cedar First Ward Chapel Chap-el Thursday afternoon by Bishop Gaylord Whitney of the Cedar Second Ward for Ray L. Middles-worth, Middles-worth, 55, who died Sunday, March 7, following a heart attack. at-tack. Burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. Speakers at the services were H. H. Luru and Dr. L. V. Broad-bent Broad-bent with remarks by Bishop Whitney. Invocation was by La- noir Jones, benediction by Zealand Zea-land Murdock, and dedication of I the grave by David L. Sargent, i Prayer at the mortuary prior to the services was by Bishop F. Klien Hollo. Colors were posted by representatives represen-tatives of the Cedar Post of the American Legion. The music program Included a vocal solo, "Oh, My Father" by Ralph Hafen, a vocal number, "The Old Rugged Cross" by a quartet composed of Mamie Eck, Lois McConnell, Hershel Neeley and Wm. Condie, and a vocal solo, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" Some-where" by Alice Williams. Accompanist Ac-companist was Mrs. Ruth Urie, and prelude and postlude organ music by Mrs. Vivian Knell. Brief services by officers of BPOE Lodge No. 1556 were con-I con-I ducted at the graveside. I |
