College of Southern Utah, Iron County Affected by Legislation State Legislature Provides $2 Million for CSU The State Legislature appropriated appro-priated a total of $1,947,CC0 for building construction and campus cam-pus Improvement, which will provide pro-vide some most Important improvements im-provements especially in view of the four-year status expansion to take place at the College of Southern Utah during the next two years. New Construction '1 tie appropriations were made for three new buildings, remodeling remodel-ing and main'vnance of present buildings, for physical education educa-tion facilities and for playing fields, for remodeling and maintenance main-tenance of present buildings, for land purchase, utilities extensions exten-sions and campus developements. The appropriation included 750,000 for a new library building, build-ing, 500,000 for a new fine arts building, and $17,500 for a new green house. Other Projects Also included was $150,000 for remodeling the administration building, $135,000 for maintenance mainte-nance of buildings, $75,000 for land purchase, $100,000 for physical phy-sical education facilities, $38,500 for utilities extension, $75,000 for physical education playing fields, $15,000 for building repairs; $18-for $18-for fleldhouse repairs; $50,000 for closed circuit TV, and $20,000 for Campus development. The appropiations cover the 1965-67 bienniem.
