Junior division standings through Saturday, July 12 were as follows, according to V'erlene Winkle, director: Ballettes 7 2 Pompottes 6 3 Kid Clovers 6 3 Purple People Eaters 4 5 Cougareites 4 5 Endless Sleepers 0 9 Biederman's, ma ged byTillie Biederman, have turned in a perfect per-fect season to date with four wins and no losses to lead the league. Milne-Thompson are in second place with a two win and no loss record with Neal and. Olie's and Hunter's-North Last Furniture trying to stay out of the cellar with identical records of one win and three losses. Biederman's have posted two wins in the last two weeks. They defeated Hunter's-North East by a score of 24 to 6 and in their last outing defeated Milne-Thompson Milne-Thompson to the tune of 11 to 2. Milne-Thompson's had a single sin-gle victory in the two-week span with a 15 to 10 win over Neal and Olio's Market, and Hunter's-North Hunter's-North East picked up their lone victory of the season with a 16j to 1 win over Neal and Olies. |
