Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Midsummer social activities have been on the docket for the I residents of Cedar City. I Mr. and Mrs. Quinn Chamberlain Chamber-lain enjoyed entertaining their couples club on Saturday eve- ining. Invited to attend were Mr. and Mrs. John Crabtree, Mr. and I Mrs. Grant Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. I Elmer Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Max Richsteig, Rich-steig, and Mr. and Mrs. Vernile Terry. Following a most delicious dinner, pinochle was played with prizes being won by Mr. and Mrs. John Crabtree and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cox. Finding the association of friends most pleasant were the ladies of the H and H Club as they gathered at the home of Mrs. Durham Morris on Friday afternoon. Invited as special guest was Mrs. W. Arthur Jones, who so Interestingly, traced the history of the Navajo Indians, their customs, modes of living, education, religion, from the primitive pri-mitive to the present day. To illustrate il-lustrate the various phases of Navajo life, slides were shown. Mrs. Jack Taylor Joined the ladies lad-ies for the afternoon as a special spe-cial guest of the hostess. Light refreshments were served. |
