Board of Adjustment Named for Parowan A hoard of adjustment provided provid-ed for in the new Planning an1 Zoning ordinance passed recently by the Parowan City Council, w is ramed at a special meeting of that body on Wednesday evening eve-ning of last week, and confirmed at the regular meeting of the Council Monday night. The ordinance provides for a board consisting of five members, appointed for from one to five years. This bard is to hear all appeals for permission to build, make improvements and changes in buildings on property within iiie riiy limits, ni provided lor in the various sections of the ordinance, or-dinance, as well as consider other provisions of the ordinance. This board will meet when necessary to consider problems as they are brought heforo the group. Members of the board and the term of their appointment are as follows: D. A. Matheson, one year; John H. Pendleton, two year; Mrs. Thora Barton, three year; C. L. Robinson, four year, and Claude Orton, five year. This group hasn't been called together as yet for organization to name a chairman and secretary of the group but this will be done on a call by Mayor Howard Joseph, we understand. |
