Show lohn F. Maroneys Visit with Parents, Tell of Son's Marriage Mr. and Mrs. John F. Maroncy of Los Angeles, Calif, spent the past two weeks In Parowan visiting vis-iting with Mrs. Maroney's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Lowdcr and o'her relatives in this area. While here they told of the re-rent re-rent marriage of their son John Thomas Mamney, Jr., to Miss Elaine Joan Fillman of the California Cali-fornia city, which took place on Juno ll. The wedding rites took plae at the Woodcrcst Methodist Church in Los Angeles with the Rev. Russell R. Robinson of the Trinity Methodist Church in Pomona, Po-mona, Calif, officiating in the candlelight ceremony. Following the ceremony a white wedding cake was cut nt a reception held In the church parlors with the women of the church In charge of serving. After a brief honeymoon the bridegroom, a specialist Third Class In the U.S. Army, returned to his duties at Fort Lewis, Wash, to complete his tour of duty. The bride attended University ofi Southern California and Pcppard-Ine Pcppard-Ine College, as a business major, and the bridegroom attended Harbor Junior College prior to ente.'ng the armed forces. 1 |
