Show Softball League Tightens as Tourney Looms Cedar Stake Church softball league is tightening up as the eight teams battle down to the wire for top position. John Wood of Parowan has not only pitched but led the hitting hit-ting in puting his team on top. However, Parowan will not be counted when determination of league representatives are decided decid-ed from Cedar Stake. Four Cedar teams are battling it out for the three spots In the tournament playoffs. They "Include "In-clude the First, Third and Sixth wards. Cedar Second handed the First Ward its first defeat of the season sea-son Saturday in a 5 to 4 extra-inning extra-inning contest. Then Third shellacked shel-lacked Second Monday by a 14 to 3 score. Sixth ward picked up two wins during the week, defeating de-feating Fifth 11 to 8 and handing the Fourth a 4 to 2 setback.
