Show Attends Adams Family Reunion Last week Albert Holt of Enterprise, En-terprise, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Moyle, Mrs. Maud Moyle, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Barlocker, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holt, and Mrs. Gordon Moyle traveled tj Montlcello and Blanding to attend the Adams family reunion. The first evening a large gathering enjoyed a patio pa-tio party at the home of one of the Adams family In Montlcello. and the second night the group held a business meeting, banquet ban-quet and program in Blanding. The following day the whole family was taken on a tour of the Natural Bridges and the' Goosenecks for which San Juan Is noted, and then traveled down the scenic highway to Mexican Hat. At this point the local group separated, and the first car with Albert Holt, Mr. and' Mrs. Jack Moyle and Mrs. Maud Moyle, were joined by Mrs. Luel-la Luel-la Dalton of Parowan and returned re-turned home by way of Monument Monu-ment Valley, Tuba City and the Indian Reservations. The second car with Mr. and, Mrs. Arnold Barlocker, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holt, and Mrs. Gordon Moyle made the trip tip to the historic city of Bluff, whichj was the first town settled by the pioneers after they went through' the Hole In the Rock. The mother of Mrs. Barlocker, Mrs. Moyle, and Mr. Holt lived at Bluff In the old Adams home for a year when she was a young girl. Leaving Bluff the vacationers went back to Blanding and Montlcello Mon-tlcello and then on to Cortez, Colo., and Mesa Verda National Park. Mrs. Moyle reported that this was a fascinating trip and that the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde were really something spectacular, showing several stages In the civilization of the Indians of that area. The group then traveled down through New Mexico and then back by way of the Painted Desert, the Petrified Forest, and the south rim of the Grand Canyon, then home by way of the Navajo Bridge and Zion National Park. |
