Show LETTERS TO THE EDITOR AS I SEE IT j I am not sure about Ike and' his free world. I do know that it Is costing the American taxpayers taxpay-ers a lot of money to maintain' it. Yet, Isn't it funny that the countries in his free world are quarrelling and fighting. What freedom. We might have a free world if the United States and Russia would stop trying to dominate dom-inate the world. It seems that there has been too much freedom In Washington! for the past 18 years, that Is, too much freedom for some of our great Individualists. It may be if our foreign aid was investigated there would be a similar mess. The American people haven't had much freedom sonce Washington Wash-ington started our Income Tax. The increased tax hasn't reduced reduc-ed our national debt. In 1930 we owed 23 billion dollars. Since our income tax started our national na-tional debt Is around 275 billion dollars. Does it make sense? Now they are after J. Bracken Lee for coming out on an independent inde-pendent ticket on the issue for America. I am sure that we could stand In both parties more Amer-1 Amer-1 icanism instead of so much scandal scan-dal and fraud in Washington. As I see it, being that the value val-ue of the dollar has cheapened Dear Editor: ' Gee time is slipping by so fast. We are enjoying our mission mis-sion so much and the lord is really blessing our efforts. We were in Hazlehurst, Ga., for a year. We really enjoyed the people peo-ple and our labors there. Here in Jesup, Ga., 256 West Bay we have just completed a new seventy thousand dollar chapel. The building inspector is to be here this week and then j we will take over here as branch president. j Sister Reeves and I are enjoying enjoy-ing good health and our missionary mission-ary work. The weather Is nice, although ' it gets hot in the day time, but it is just right to sleep at night. Give our love and best wishes to our many friends and neighbors neigh-bors in Cedar City. Your friends, Elder and Sister Wm, Otto Reeves so much lately, we could do I away with our money standard of today. We could open the jail door and of course it would stop our foreign aid, and there would- I n't be any Goldfine scandals. Fantastic? We would have noth-, noth-, ing to quarrel or fight about.
